Ravenel is a graduate of Ohio State University, one of the top universities in the United States, where he led his team to the Final Four of the NCAA tournament.
After coming to Japan, he was the MVP of the finals for the Ryukyu Golden Kings in the BJ League. He is a player with a high IQ who can use both his powerful play to aggressively go for the goal and his smart play to take advantage of his teammates depending on the situation. この度、アルティーリ千葉に入団します大塚裕土です。
新規クラブという事で、どんなチームなんだろうと思う方がたくさんいらっしゃると思います、私自身その中の1人でした。
有り難いことに、B1クラブからのお声がけもいただきました。数年前の私なら間違いなくB1というステージに拘りプレーを考えていたと思います。しかし、これからのキャリアの歩み方やモチベーションなど様々な事を考えました。そんな中で、クラブ側のビジョンやGMのチーム創りの思想など日々コミュニケーションを取る中で共感する所が一致し、新しいチャレンジに取り組んでみたいという気持ちが大きくなり契約をさせて頂く運びとなりました。

I’m Yuto Otsuka, and I will be joining ALTIRI CHIBA.
Being a new club, I’m sure there are many people who are wondering what kind of team this is, and I myself was one of them.
Thankfully, I received an offer from a B1 club. If I had been a player a few years ago, I would have definitely been thinking about playing for a B1 club. However, I thought about various things such as my future career path and motivation. In the midst of all of this, the vision of the club and the philosophy of the GM in building the team came together and my willingness to take on a new challenge grew, and I decided to sign the contract.
In order to make the basketball industry more interesting and exciting, I will use all my experiences as a first member of ALTIRI CHIBA and take the lead in making the history of the club.

We are pleased to announce that we have signed a contract with Yuto Otsuka.

Otsuka is one of the best 3-point shooters in the B.LEAGUE, and his catch-and-shoot game has a particularly high percentage, making him a threat to opposing teams. He is also a leader in the locker room, and will help bring together the basketball culture of ALTIRI CHIBA. His experience in helping the Kawasaki Brave Thunders win the Emperor’s Cup last season is also invaluable, and I believe that he will fully demonstrate his abilities in the new challenge of ALTIRI CHIBA.
